He cries to the moo-oo-oon, "If only, if only"Quote from Holes, by Louis Sachar

Summary
Izuku has been sleeping with Katsuki for two years now. They're best-friends-with benefits, and honestly? He's having the time of his life. Sure, he caught feelings and sometimes he wishes for more, but he's pretty good with what they've got, and he trusts that their friendship would withstand any emotional fallout. He's happy with any piece of Kacchan that he's willing to get. Little does he know, Kacchan's on a completely different page. Hell, he might be in a completely different book.

Summary
Young Izuku nods. He’s still pale, with a careful blankness to his face, and his shoulders tremble slightly when he moves. In a small, sure voice, he says, “I’ve thought about what you told me, and what I’ve seen. And there’s only one explanation: I’m dead.”
“Ah,” says Mirio.
Izuku rubs his forehead with the heel of his hand. “We should probably just call Mr. Aizawa.”

There are versions of himself that Izuku wishes he could bury.

He knows his time is up. The vines has taken its roots in his chest. Could feel the daffodils that blooms and suffocates his lungs.
And it wouldn’t be long before it starts to suffocate him too.
