Summary
Lonely data analyst Zhongli has little to look forward to in life. His job is monotonous, his dreams have fallen apart, and his coworkers either overlook or take advantage of him. When he dies in a sudden accident, it is simply one more unfair event.
But then, impossibly, he awakens in a new world, where the colours are brighter and the air is sweeter, and perhaps he can have a second chance.

Fans of the popular “Adventurer Ajax” comics are queuing up at bookstores across Teyvat. A special issue was just released, focusing on Ajax’s trusted companion! Originally the winning entry from a fan-created character contest, the lovely funeral consultant has become a fan favourite. Readers cannot wait to learn his backstory!
Meanwhile, Zhongli has been having some odd encounters of late. Why do strangers keep mistaking him for someone called “Zhengliang”?

Summary
Rex Lapis' golden gaze lowers to the ground. For a moment, it feels as though every other living thing holds its breath.
"Rex Lapis! My name is Childe, and while I am kind of a bad guy, I am honoured to meet you." He puts his fist to his palm in a traditional Liyuen greeting, exactly as Zhongli had once showed him, and smiles with too much teeth. "Will you heed my request?"
Rex Lapis does not answer, but he does not immediately smite Childe where he stands either, so he takes it as a cue to continue.
"May I please have one of your scales?"
Childe can’t bear to see his good friend Zhongli upset over his broken jewellery box. He decides to make Zhongli a new one, out of nice-smelling wood, definitely platonic love, and a dragon scale from Rex Lapis himself.

He picks up the ball and gives it to Ajax gently.
“Don’t worry about it.”
He looks at the now destroyed flowers.
“They were going to die anyway.”

Summary
After the battle with Osial, Zhongli believed his troubles had finally ended. Then he opened his door to find Tartaglia in his monstrous form, and the grievance burning in that single eye told him — more plainly than any reproach in six thousand years ever had — that they were far from over.

It's a reconciliation fic with a twist - Childe is trapped in his Foul Legacy Transformation. The author uses this set-up to explore Childe's backstory and relationships, including the all-important one with Zhongli. Like all good fairytales, we know that the curse will be lifted in the end, but it is the journey that matters.

Hu Tao shields against the sun with a palm, her hand swallowing it up whole from its perch in the sky, the highest it will get today. It is only when the procession is entirely out of sight, that she holds out to him, with little ceremony, a kongming lock, fingers locked between the pieces jutting out.
Ancient Liyueans — well into the Late Archonian era; those strange millennia where there was a universal acceptance in Teyvat a seven-deity pantheon, despite the cultural and geographical distance between all nations — did revere a god of stone, but he had never heard of offerings made to him in his own element.
A luxury good, perhaps, like those old Fontainen manuscripts, inked by hand, all unique in their make, prized over the uniformity of the printing press for it — ?
This is the mark of our pledge, and it is also my challenge to you.
Zhongli blinks.
(Or: Orphan-with-mysterious-origins Zhongli, born and raised in Sumeru, and dreaming of Liyue from afar, finally gets a homecoming. With it come many questions, a kongming lock, and an adventure that might change the course of his life.)

Incredibly cinematic, yet charming in its depiction of a more romantic age. The writing draws you into this reimagined version of Teyvat, in a time of exploration and adventure. I'm very much looking forward to what happens next.
