Dragons - the greatest threat to any viking’s life. If you don’t count the cold. Or illness. Or famine. Even then technically famine was still the dragons fault.
Regardless, dragons are considered to be the vikings greatest enemy - or well, they used to be…
Yup, since the so-called ‘Queen’(now been named the Red Death) was tracked down and defeated by Berk’s own Catherine Parr, vikings and dragons have been in very tentative peace. Berk was rebuilt faster than ever before thanks to dragon labor and support. People have been clambering over one another to join Cathy’s riding and safety class. Some of the initial dragon riders that came to the rescue during the fight with the Red Death are gearing up for Berk’s first ever dragon races. Everything seems to be looking up and going for the better now that the viking/dragon war is over.
But for Katherine Howard, the girl who’s immensely afraid of dragons? It really doesn’t seem that way.
