This meant that for most of their time together, Jonathan had been an engaged man, a fact he’d kept secret. And here Speedwagon was, letting himself fall head-over-heels in love. It stung, even though it wasn’t like Speedwagon hadn't met men like this before. Still, he'd expected Jojo to be different.

In a secluded cottage by the sea, Giorno thinks he is as alone as he ever could be. But before long he is confronted by somebody who needs his help, who's injured and heartbroken, who's far from home, and who is not at all human.
