The group with being stuck in both a facility, and a different dimension every night, start to have low hopes and higher doubts about figuring something out to free them from this nightmare. With discovering the fact that their families are now trapped in the same predicaments as they are, Ashlyn now feels entirely at fault and doesn't know how to deal with it. The torture the girl goes through is beyond what any average 16 year old could ever handle; so how on earth is she alive? While she was at it, why not send her dads a message? Like, hey, guess who got a new phone? She got down to the V, about to click on Vander's contact to tell him of her newest adventure, when an emoji caught her attention.
It was the only contact with an emoji in place of a name. More specifically, a thumbs down emoji.
Jinx had no clue who it was. Neither did she remember ever creating the contact. She opened up the log, but there wasn't even a message history between them. She was insanely curious over who they could be.
She opened up their contact, typing out a ‘Hey so I saved your number as 👎. Any idea what might have caused this??’ before clicking send.
The reply came a few minutes later.
👎: Guess who?
After finding a mysterious contact on her phone, Jinx finds herself roped into a never-ending guessing game, the stranger on the other end of the line both closer and farther than she could've ever expected.

“Oh fuck’s sake.” he rolled his eyes, patience running thin “We're not together that often.”After a rather turbulent past, Jinx and Ekko find their way to each other again. Joined at the hip, except- there's this weird tension in the room whenever they're close, which is a bit of an issue, considering they're roommates. Now, it's going to take a lot more restraint to not slip up, because she doesn't think she's good enough, and he seems determined to prove her wrong and save her.
Attention, fame- it seems to chase them, more people get involved, feelings grow and hearts are bound to break as their almost possessive, damn near unhealthy dynamic, is tested. She can't be good for him, that much is clear, so why the hell can't he seem to keep his hands away from her?And why the hell, is there a tiny kid sitting on his living room couch?
Now, they're more intertwined than ever. Everywhere he turns, he's engulfed in blue- her essence, taunting, luring him in. The siren's call is irresistible. She's chaos and trouble, and fuck.. he craves the thrill.
