They both paused at the sudden silence that fell around them, their eyes finding each other almost immediately.
Scar held back a laugh. “Did you break the elevator?”
Grian squawked, letting go of Scar’s hand to start frantically clicking the buttons. After he had tried each combination of button clicking, the machine remained stationary.
He couldn’t help but laugh at him, trying—and failing—to stifle down the grin plastered across his lips. “You broke it!”
“I didn’t!”
-- > Scar and Grian are long-time co-workers. Friendly, with far too much flirting to be just light conversation, but they work together well. On their way to a meeting, the elevator shuttered to a stop, leaving the two of them stuck in it, with the lights out, and nothing to find but each other. Might as well pass the time, right?

Summary
If there was one thing that Scar was good at, among the other things, it was being a fucking tease.
Whenever he got the chance, he’d drag Mumbo away into some place more private to take him apart with his lips and hands; murmuring into his ear about being quiet only to pull away with a grin, just to see Mumbo fall apart with nowhere to put the energy. He would leave after that, using one excuse after another to leave him. “Next time,” he would promise, giving one final tug to Mumbo’s tie.
Every time, Mumbo would be dragged to his room once more, aching and alone with fingers twitching to be buried into skin. There was nowhere to burn that insistent desire unless he dealt with it himself.
-- > Scar and Mumbo have been "friends with benefits" for as long as anyone can remember, but they've never gone all the way. It tends to leave Mumbo frustrated every time.

Summary
Scar found himself in an incredibly embarrassing predicament.
He has powers. Weak ones, meant to subdue and stop anybody from running. That's just how Vex magic works. But today was different. A lot more stressful.
His powers had turned against him, and now he was bound with no sign of it wearing off. Red, thin strings looped around his wrists and pulled them above his head, legs free to move but his waist was tied in a string. And- Normally it isn't an issue.
Typically, he could just try and fall asleep, and hope that it would sort itself out, but now he has a new problem.
This was hot. Like, scary hot.
--> Scar's Vex powers put him in a situation; he was bound up by his own thread and couldn't see any way of escape. He needed to call someone and hope they helped him. Meaning to call Mumbo, he accidentally calls Grian instead.

Grian had woken up with a violent festering in his body.
His body was hot, the feathers on his wings sending sparks of irritation through his spine and ending up in his brain. He felt prickly - Like a mattress of fibre glass constantly rolling over itself.
All that to say: Grian was in heat.

Summary
.COM is a series of fics surrounding one au. Scar and Grian are both your typical office workers who, in the harshest form of the word, are in a situationship. They always flirt, ready to take the last step, but neither of them do. It tends to leave them both confused.
This series begins with KCOTM, where they get trapped in an elevator and end up venting out their feelings for each other in a controversial way. They'll get a handle on things eventually.

Summary
An Alternative Universe surrounded around the Vex prince, Scar, and his two closest "friends", the knight Grian, and the gardener Mumbo. Constantly battling with his need to love them as far as they will let him, he needs to make sure nobody else realizes how he feels about the two. He can't show that he has any attachment to anybody, or else he risks putting them in danger.
They love each other in private- Or as private as they could be, with highly differing libidos. And yet they can't bring themselves to ask the question of "What are we?".
