TL;DR - Cypher Blackwell wakes up in the body of a less-than-decent guy outside Night City. He gets random tech knowledge every 3 days. The story revolves around Cypher working on these techs, leaving a mark on the world, and, of course, having some fun with a few kind ladies. -

Sure, the background fear of ‘will I be mugged today’ was higher, but showing up on time and being a reliable cashier turned out to be a shockingly transferable skillset. Dependability meant job security, even in a place where people got shot for cutting in line.
Working at a nerdly little hobby shop that specialized in pre– and immediately post– DataKrash memorabilia? Honestly– easier for him, at least the stuff here he could recognize.
