Luffy reached out to grab Zoro’s face, a familiar, invasion of personal space he had done a thousand times. But before his rubbery fingers could make contact, a calloused hand shot up and gripped his wrist.
The grip wasn't playful. It wasn't the fond, exasperated push of a first mate dealing with his hyperactive captain. It was a vice of pure, defensive iron.
Luffy blinked, his smile faltering.

Summary
During a sudden terrible storm, the Thousand Sunny is split off-course, and Zoro and Luffy wash up on a small, uncharted island with no clear signs of civilization. Supplies are limited, and Luffy treats the situation like an adventure at first, while Zoro is focused on survival, navigation, and finding a way back. The island itself is strange, lush but dangerous, with nocturnal predators and shifting terrain. As days pass, Zoro realizes Luffy is burning energy too quickly without proper food or rest, forcing him into an unwilling caretaking role. Luffy, meanwhile, keeps pushing into danger out of curiosity, dragging Zoro into constant rescue situations. Between late-night campfires, shared injuries, and forced cooperation, the usual captain, crew hierarchy blurs. Zoro starts noticing how vulnerable Luffy can be when he’s quiet, and Luffy begins relying on Zoro in a way he doesn’t with anyone else. The tension builds as survival necessity slowly turns into emotional dependency.

Summary
Luffy (17) has moved to live with his big brother Ace (23), after being abused for years by his grandfather. He didn't really decide it. The judges in the court did. And while he was trying to get accustomed to his new life, having in mind his unusual ability to see and interact with ghosts, he somehow managed to get involved in a murder, meet some crazy people (both metaphorically and literally) and almost die.
Ships you will see: Zoro/Luffy, Sanji/Nami, Sabo/Koala, Ussop/Kyla, Kohza/Vivi, Smoker/Tashigi, Robin/Franky, and maybe Ace/Marco (i am still waiting for you guys to share your thoughts with me on this ;))
**Disclaimer: all of the ships in the fic are just like a nice addition to the development of the characters, the story isn't centered around them
