All of Steve’s thoughts come squealing to a record-scratch stop as Natasha’s words catch up to him. The fathering type, she’d said. Fathering? And Tony hadn’t denied it. Not even a little bit. “Wait a minute. Was that… your… son?”

Summary
Tony flicks his gaze toward the group of students gawking and does a compulsory once-over. He doesn’t seem to be looking for Peter. Peter sinks deep in his hoodie and prays he blends in anyway.
Unfortunately, Tony catches his eye, does a double-take, and smiles. “Oh, hey!” he says as he walks over. Then, to Peter’s eternal mortification, Tony sticks one end of a piece of metal in his mouth so he has a free hand to ruffle Peter’s hair. With the piece still in his mouth and muffling his voice, he says, “Didn’t know you were here. I have to go talk with Dr. Karim in her lab right now, sorry I can’t stay and chat longer.”
Peter goes on a field trip, Tony doesn’t know, and FRIDAY wants revenge.

“I don’t care what you’re doing either, Tony. I don’t want to hear it, just get your butt down here.”

or peter and tony are working in the lab when pepper calls tony and tells him there’s a meeting he’s supposed to be in. now peter finds himself sitting next to mr. stark in a board of directors meeting. he didn’t mean to call out one of the directors presenting, but his math was wrong — the last thing anyone was expecting was for the high schooler to start correcting them.
