“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Jealous of Mike's position as Golden boy, his ability to get out of company publicity and hide away in Harvey's office, the associates play a prank on him. They don't know, they swear, but Mike gets hurt anyway. With lasting consequences.

Summary
Royce stands alone in an empty train station with nowhere to go and nowhere to stay for the night. The only person in the area who he knows is his captain. It's bloody stupid to call him and ask if Royce can sleep over. He tries anyway.
The first surprise is when MacTavish picks up. The second is when MacTavish agrees to let him stay. The third is when Royce finds out how he lives when not on base.

Summary
It was quiet for less than thirty minutes before the sounds of the humans returned, this time an awkward scramble of many footsteps and nearly as many voices. They came into view only a moment later, and his eyes widened at the sight of the large blue tarp-thing hung between two poles being carried by more than a dozen humans, each straining under the obvious weight.
A massive caudal fin hung from one end of the tarp, but it had been so heavily wrapped in soaked towels to keep it from drying out that it was impossible to see in any real detail. It was also, Johnny noticed with sudden unease, completely, utterly limp.
