Summary
A week after Shroud's failed attack on LA, things are starting to return to normal. Case in point, a simple office bet starts up among the original Z-Teamers: Who will Robert end up sleeping with? Flambae takes that bet, thinking it'll be easy money. Sure, laying Bob-Bob doesn't sound like a particularly exciting fuck, but winning's winning, and it's not like Robert could resist his charms.
Torrance is saved and Mecha Man has returned, but Robert has a secret that he's never told anyone: he's gay. Having disappointed his father's legacy enough for a lifetime, he figures he'll be taking that one to his grave, thank you very much. And that shouldn't be hard, right? Who would want a depressed man over thirty who doesn't even own a mattress?
It's all fun and games until somebody catches feelings...

Summary
Maybe none of it meant anything.
Maybe they were reading too much into things that had never been meant for them at all.
Maybe Robert simply felt confident enough to treat them differently. It didn’t mean he cared about them. Not the way they wanted him to.
But hope, once it found a place to settle, had a way of digging in its heels. And if the Z-Team had grown good at anything over the years, it was clinging to the smallest flecks of it.

Summary
Several months after Invisigal disappeared with Shroud's mask, Robert is falling apart. He can't taste, can't feel, can't stop his off-the-books investigation into underground surgeons removing failed Red Ring implants. Every back-alley beating, every late-night break-in is just him chasing pain to cut through the numbness. To feel alive again.
The Z team are starting to notice, and they have their own plans to help Robert.
Flambae's got an alternative therapy in mind. Therapy that involves heat, control, and getting his dispatcher out of his system once and for all. Too bad nothing ever goes as planned.
