Summary
"Look at me Richard"
Dick, clenched his jaw, his whole body trembled as he forced himself up to a standing positon stumbling through the dizziness and the heavy pumping of his heart in his ear. He didnt want to look, didnt want to give in to slade, but he was fading fast, and Slade was so…he was so familiar, it was comforting in some fucked up way.
Dick wasnt afraid of dying, he wasnt allowed that luxery in his kind of work, but what actually scared him, the unknown, the darkness that followed. That scared Dick more then anything. No he wasnt afraid of dying. He was afraid of death. And sure, Slade probably knew that, played into that even. But in some sick way Dick would rather have the familiarity of Slade picking apart his mind then submit to the unknown.
OR
Dick grayson is not having a good time but its fine right? he can manage, thats until a familair face stops bye and dick realizes familiarity is a comfort, even if that familiarity is a mercenary who tortured him at the ripe old age of 14

Summary
“Stay on the line,” Bruce says, like it’s easy. “Tell me.”
Dick looks at the phone and he can’t get the word out. Words like, Hey. Um. I'm a little scared. I can't stop, and there’s this sick-feeling here, basking against all my organs that will never be small enough. It’s in every thought, every mouthful.
Or instead, he says, “I can't eat.”

Summary
“‘s the drugs. I did drugs,” Dick slurs, and then collapses to the ground.
Jason pulls up the collar of Dick’s uniform, exposing the familiar skin Jason can’t ever seem to run far enough from. Track marks, a blown vein, ecchymosis. Needles.
And just like that, everything comes back to a bathroom in Crime Alley. Jason has been here before, and he doesn’t ever want to do this again. He knows what this is. He fucking knows.
or Robin!Jason rescues Nightwing after Blockbuster’s murder, crashes the getaway car, and then has to keep them both alive as Dick overdoses on whatever-the-fuck those bad guys gave him. Given Jason’s history with drugs (and with Dick revealing things he wouldn’t willingly reveal about the Blockbuster incident), things go to shit pretty quickly.

Summary
It was presumptuous of Wally to assume this was only about Jason, maybe a little wishful, too. Or maybe Dick was deflecting. Does it really matter, though?
“I’m not going anywhere,” Wally parroted.
This time Dick flinched, and something explosive flashed in his eyes before dying just as quickly. “You can’t say that. You of all people can’t say that.”

Summary
"This is my side of town, ya know?"
Dick squinted. “Jason?” His voice came out cautious, like he didn’t quite trust it. “You’re… older.”
He sighed. “Alright, I guess.”
Jason tilted his head. “That’s it? You don’t care that I’m here?”
Dick shrugged, still watching the alley below. “Well, I’m kind of on the job, so it isn’t the best time to break down.”
Jason blinked.“Can we like… delay this?” Dick added, his voice dry. “Show up in my kitchen while I’m eating cheese out of my opened fridge?”
Or Dick thinks he's hallucinating a very real Jason and invites the "hallucination" home. Jason thinks his brother is being freakishly calm, but hey, he's being accepted as he is so he doesn't care.
