There had been an unspoken agreement between them ever since Jean had taken up the mantle of leadership the moment Varka embarked on his journey. She was to represent idealism, while Kaeya embodied pragmatism. She was the compassionate side of the Knights, and he bore the ruthlessness needed to confront their enemies.
“You stay in the light,” Kaeya said vehemently, like a plea, like a prayer.
But no matter how hard Kaeya tried to deny it, Jean was far from naive. She was well aware of Kaeya's dubious methods for handling problems—blackmail, threats, violent interrogations, and the extraction of information through whatever means necessary, even using himself as a means to an end. She knew about it, and she chose to turn a blind eye to it.
"While I handle things in the shadow."

Summary
Dazai appears on the street, head turning around before he fixates on the motorbike and its rider. He makes an immediate beeline for them, and though Atsushi can't see their face for the helmet blocking it, he hopes they can see his face and the get away immediately look he’s sending in their direction.
They don't kick off of the pavement and roar away into the traffic, so either they don't see him or have chosen to ignore him. He spares a small prayer for the person, about to turn away from whatever scene is about to commence outside when Dazai steps right up against the person, far too close for it to be at all friendly.
He winces, squinting his eyes until they're almost shut, waiting for the inevitable attack on Dazai. The person doesn't react at all, leaning back a little further and not winding up to punch Dazai square across the jaw.

Or: five times Dazai’s co-workers observe his interactions with his...spouse (?), and one time the confusion is (mostly) removed.
