Once parked, Pete simply turns a smile on him. All dimples, pure innocence, as if he hasn't walked Vegas into a challenge with the same energy as pressing a handgun at his back and telling him to move.
"Fuck you." Vegas spits.
Without even having left the car yet, Pete feels as if he has fought and lost several rounds of this argument.
