Geralt of Rivia does not want a barker or a bard or anyone else following his Path. Jaskier doesn't care about that either.

Geralt of Rivia does not understand how a Witcher can be so happy near-constantly. Dandelion doesn't care about that either.

    While Geralt is busy – accidentally – becoming Warlord, Julian is born amongst fear and whisper of war, screaming and crying. His future is bleak, he knows that, so he let himself be Julek while he runs in the streets of Lettenhove. Just another child, no one important, and decidedly not Julian son of The Viscount.
    This change things. Not everything. Jaskier will arrive at Kaer Morhen knowing his family gave him up without a second thought, and absolutely sure that the dreaded Warlord of the North will value him even less than his own blood did.
    However, he doesn’t need the Warlord to value him and he has every reason to fear him. Not because the Witcher must be a monster – anyone can be a monster these days – but because he has too much to protect. And he will. No matter the cost.

Kept under supervision while working in the royal kitchens, Jaskier aims to escape as soon as possible... That is until he catches the attention of a certain white haired witcher at a ball for King Henselt to find a new consort.

    Based on the fairy tale "Princess Furball" which is a regional variation of Cinderella.
