Summary
Once upon a time, in the lands of great greens, there lived a handsome Prince. Prince Gerard was undoubtedly a perfect fit for the throne, with an eye for the arts and a flair for the dramatic.
Being of this much importance naturally comes with a great deal of hardships and moments in which everything is at stake, begging for the right decision.
Prince Gerard is struggling to choose a wife, and when a knight by the name of Ray is appointed to help him, he only seems to make the Prince less eager to marry at all.
This proves to be quite the problem, but true lovers will do everything for hope to be real.
The humble human cannot choose where the heart takes him, he can only hope it won't get lost.
This tale tells their story. It is no ordinary story.

Summary
“Y’know, smoking's bad for you.” Ray's voice was much clearer here than in Gerard's fuzzy memories of when they'd first properly met.
“I know.” Gerard said, breathing out the smoke, turning to look at the man standing next to him.
Ray had a hood pulled over his head from a windbreaker that he had on, and in the dim light Gerard could see the top of his guitar case that was slung over his back. He could also see his smile pulled a bit too wide, and could barely see his eyes darting around like he didn’t want to look directly at Gerard.

Ray and Gerard are soulmates. Gerard has a lot of issues that he believes he shouldn't burden anyone with. Ray stays anyways.
