Just like that, they were aware again. Aware of how Robby’s fingers were pressing searing marks straight into Dennis’ skin, spots that no other man was lucky enough to touch. With how loose the thing was, Robby could easily slide his hands up, up, upward under the fabric of the jumper and trace teasing fingertips over his ribs. Summary
Robby ends up staying far longer than Dennis thought he would, and spends most of his time entertaining Ellie. Dennis isn’t complaining but he starts to get this funny feeling of imposing on Robby, even though they’re in Dennis’s home. It feels more like Dennis’s life is imposing on Robby’s life.
Dennis’s daughter comes to live with him once he starts earning real doctor money and Robby does his best to be the dad that stepped up.

Maybe this was a bad idea.
Robby muses to himself as he stares at Dennis across central talking to Trinity animatedly, Trinity’s eyebrows furrowing as she glances over at him with a look of confusion and happiness. He can only imagine what she’s thinking when she laughs and smacks Dennis’ arm before scurrying off. He traces Dennis’ movements as Dennis shakes his head, looks down at the tablet in his hands then stops before glancing up at the feeling of eyes on him. He startles slightly before giving a small smile with a light blush dusted across his cheeks. Robby gives a quick smile back before looking back down at his computer, not exactly reading the words on the screen as his own cheeks burn.
He thinks about what got him into this situation.
