Summary
On the first night after Ganon falls they eat at Link’s house and don’t look at each other. Well, Link eats, at least, Zelda more falls asleep into her fish soup and without much fanfare, collapses into bed. She sleeps for thirty-eight hours, wakes once to mumble “Uxeefiget” which means exactly nothing, and falls back asleep for another seven.
The next day the two sit down at the same table and have breakfast at lunchtime and avoid talking about the things they need to talk about, namely: what to do next.

Summary
There is a song that says that the Princess awakened to her power because of her love for the Hero.
"That's nonsense," Zelda scoffs.
"Wow, tell me how you really feel," Link drawls.

Summary
Being pressed against his chest is as thrilling as it is worrisome. He’s put on a thin shirt (when she first woke up, he was bare-chested) through which his warmth seeps so wonderfully against the exposed skin of her back. What’s worrisome is that his chest is moving rapidly, heavily. He seems to be fighting for breath. At first she thought it was the adrenaline. Surely the fight with Ganondorf was fast-paced and arduous. It’s been long enough, though, that he ought to have caught his breath by now.
She turns her head slightly so he can see part of her face. At this angle, Zelda can only glimpse the very tip of his ear. He’s wearing amber earrings, not the blue hoops she’s used to seeing.
“Are you alright?” she murmurs.

Summary
…Here Link is, being all poetic and introspective, while Zelda is groping him and humping his leg. He smiles, almost dopey, and rolls his head against the wall to better see her face. Her eyes are lidded and downturned as if focused on a book, and her face and ears are flushed pink-orange. The windows across the hall shine the dying light of the sun on her back and give her a beautiful halo effect. She looks holy. She looks holy, despite the crude circumstances, despite her inability to hear the Goddess Hylia's word.
Someone must be entirely mistaken, if this is not enough for the Goddess.[Zelda ambushes Link in a deserted hall of the castle and asks, "Do you want me?" The answer, of course, is yes.]

Summary
They lay side-by-side on the floor of the Forgotten Temple for some amount of time, lost in regret and devastation and heartache, before Impa wiped her cheeks with a sniffle and pushed herself up from the ground. “We’ll need to start our work immediately if we’re to get her back, then,” she said. “Go wash your face, and I’ll put the kettle on.”
He blinked. “Impa, the glyphs say it’s not possible.”
“Oh, Link, old friend, I don’t care what the Zonai thought was possible. Perhaps they didn’t know of a way to reverse the draconification process, but that was so, so very long ago. Think of the legends we’ve recorded over the centuries since, all the many ways that Hyrule has been saved from ruin by unimaginable power — do you think the Zonai really knew everything that would ever come to be?
“It will be hard to find, certainly, but I believe wholeheartedly that there is something in this land that can bring her back. So unless you don’t think we owe it to our Princess to try, I suggest you get up off the floor, wipe the tears off your face, and get to work.”
A lore-adjacent explanation for how Zelda might have been restored at the end of Tears of the Kingdom.
