Summary
“What is this? Hollander does not have his own team?” He directs the question at Pike, and is surprised by the fury and guilt on his face.
“You can’t tell anyone, but…” Pike looks like he’d rather eat glass than admit whatever he’s about to say, but an angry grumble from Hollander seems to snap his priorities into place. “The team’s never been great about Shane being an omega. Even if one of them was willing to help, I wouldn’t trust them with him.”
Hollander whimpers, eyes meeting Ilya’s as his head rolls forward.
“Rozanov,” Hollander whines.
“And then there’s that,” Marleau says.
Or; The day after leaving Ilya heartbroken on his couch, Shane goes into heat unexpectedly after a game against Boston. Ilya’s not equipped to handle Shane on his own, but fortunately for both of them, the Raiders are more than willing to lend a hand—or a mouth—to help their captain out.

He should just forget about Rozanov. Forget about Rozanov coming all over his own stomach as Shane watched, transfixed; forget about Rozanov’s hand curving possessively around Shane’s jaw to pull him in for a kiss. Forget about the dizzying, red-hot bolt of shame and anticipation and fear and arousal that had shot through him when Rozanov stroked two fingers down between his ass cheeks and pressed there—a question, an offer. A promise.
(In which Shane responds to Ilya’s texts between 2011 and 2013.)
“Stop saying dick pic,” Shane hissed. “This is harassment.” He glared at the bulge in his pants. “You are harassing me.”“I do not know what this word means.”
“How fucking convenient for you.”
“Aw, Hollander,” Rozanov said, but he sounded a little contrite. After a beat, he asked, “Do you want me to stop?”
“Don’t you dare stop,” Shane said through clenched teeth, surreptitiously palming himself to take the edge off. It didn’t help.
“So do you want my dick or not?” Rozanov asked after another beat.

Silence. Followed by much more silence.

Ilya Rozanov suggests to Shane that he would be okay with Shane seeing other men while they are apart, on the road, if he wanted to. Shane reacts poorly and the subsequent fight and issues this causes is more of a problem than Ilya expected. He wishes he could take it back.
OR- A slightly longer look into that part of The Long Game when Ilya suggests this. I always wanted it to have a plot, instead of a few paragraphs. So here it is.
