    Well, what if, instead of the M-5, the computer was Spock? Instead of Daystrom copying his own brainwaves, it was Amanda and Sarek (as a pair of computer scientists)?
    The story of the Enterprise crew and Jim realizing that this computer program is VERY sentient.
    The story of Spock going from "I don't see the purpose of having a captain when I'm here" to "Captain Kirk is THE most essential crew member" to "if anything happens to Jim, I'll kill everyone on the Enterprise and then myself".
