Summary
In Westeros, the moment a person turns eighteen, a mark appears on their body, the name of their soulmate.
It had been five years since Aemond's mark appeared and a little less than that since he had fled the capital and the family empire, after one damned night at Storm's End. He could have lived a quiet life, hidden on his vineyard in the South, near Oldtown, but his peace was about to end.
Lucerys Velaryon will turn eighteen in a few days, and his mark will inevitably appear too.

Summary
He does care, though, because he doesn’t live in a fairy tale world where the Centaurs are one of the few teams who actually celebrate Pride month, where a player can have his private life be private, where whether you like a man or a woman doesn’t matter, no matter your gender. Instead, he lives in a world where someone will out his Captain and wish harm on him.
And Xander can’t let it happen, he can’t let Hollander go through that when Hollander already looked devastated in the video. He has to come up with a solution, some sort of distraction, some way to take the heat off of Hollander so Comeau doesn’t out him to a less receptive team, or doesn’t just out him publicly by posting the video.
Well, if Comeau is fighting with fire, then Xander needs to fight with water.
If Comeau is fighting with homophobia, then Xander needs to fight with gay.

Summary
"You know, I met your father once."
Okay, in hindsight, Shane could have phrased that better, or led with something gentler. Ilya went still, then jerked away from him
Shane didn't think he'd ever quite seen this look in his eyes. Hunted, hurt, almost angry.
"What?"Or: What if Shane had met Grigori Rozanov at the draft in L.A.?

Summary
His hair falls across his face as he makes a slow, half-hearted attempt to sit up. He can smell it now—a rich, heady scent that intoxicates his every sense. It smells of amber, of caramel, of butter melting on his skin. It smells of gooseberries, peonies, and sweet Lambrusco.
It smells like Louis.
It is this realization that frees him from his own complacency, and Lestat feels it then—the sound of his own heart stopping to mimic that of another, the one beating confidently and freely at his side. His body is wrapped in a thick woolen blanket; beneath it slips the silk of a pajama that does not belong to him. He lies on pillows, feeling his feet dangle off the edge of a—couch?
“Good morning, sleeping beauty,” that voice, frankly far too amused, reaches him from the opposite couch, across a hideous slate coffee table.
OR
Lestat collapses from an overdose during one of his concerts. Louis decides it's time to get him clean, whether he likes it or not.Bookmarked by Shadow_Latte
