"Waitaminute," Leo blurted out, "He doesn't know my body's at the EPF base, or he doesn't know my body's at the EPF base!?"
Draxum's cheeks turned a bright pink from shame when he admitted: "As of yet your family are unaware of your untimely demise."
A flash of blue ignited in the darkness, sparked from Leo's rage flaring up when he aggressively accused: "You didn't TELL them!!?"
"I..." before Barry had a chance to respond, the enraged slider demanded in no uncertain terms: "TELL them TO-NIGHT!!!" Then he was gone - leaving to spend as much time with his family as possible before sunrise came to force him back to that lonely place of Limbo.

Leo died, his family doesn't know yet, and he can only interact with Draxum. All this changes when a Bringer of Death extends an invitation to join his kind, promising Leo will be able to return to earth with his family . . . but as a vampire.
What he will choose will not only shape the rest of his afterlife, but also put the power of life and death for many in the palms of his hands.

~Sequel to Life: The Ultimate Sacrifice~
After turning the pool into a skating rink, Draxum squeezed Leo's shoulder, saying: "I think thats enough use of your ninpo for one day." But Leo ignored him when someone asked for snow to finish the look.
The group of skaters, along with others in the party who were going along with the fun, began chanting: "Snow! Snow! Snow! Snow!"
"You wan't snow!? I'll give you snow!!" Leo happily announced. But that was when everything went south.
Leo threw his right hand up. A blast of ninpo energy shot out that he was going to turn into glistening blue snowflakes. There was an eerie *thwuuump* a blindingly bright flash of light along with a *boom!* He was thrown from where he had been standing, landing on his side, where he cupped his injured hand up close to his chest.
His right hand was covered in jagged, glowing blue cracks. The burning, mystically-inflicted injury began spreading up his arm from his wrist. He had overdone his ninpo and was still using it. "The ice!" he muttered, raising his voice and yelling: "Get off the ice!!!"

Summary
Kaiman stared down on Leonardo and said in his deep, nauseating voice: “The code of honor you choose live by is only for the weak and the fools, of which you are both.” As he continued staring at the much smaller turtle, he issued the very real threat: "The punish shock is capable of causing severe harm and possibly killing you. Do you understand?"
*Beep* went the neuro-tech disruptor attached to Leo that was used to shock him into submission.
Leo nodded his head without taking his eyes off the tempting jug of cold salvation in Kaiman's hand.
"And yet you still choose to refrain from taking a life?" he next asked.
*Beep*
Leo nodded his head again.
After that, Kaiman gave him a devious grin and had the nerve to tip the jug up to his own mouth to take a big swig right in front of him, before setting it down on the floor directly outside the glass wall between them.
“You would have earned your water today if you had obeyed my command. Let this be a lesson for you.”

Summary
Leo didn't mean to join the Foot Clan.
He wasn't even really sure how it happened.
His dad had pulled a prank on him and his brothers - the mother of all pranks.
A sick and twisted prank that left him hyperventilating and questioning his dad's love for them.

After that whole situation in Flushed but Never Forgotten, Leo feels Splinter has gone too far and he storms out of the lair, deciding he never wants to see his dad again for as long as he lives.
But alone in the rain with nowhere else left to go, when Cassandra Jones surprisingly takes pity on him, Leo somehow finds himself going from having a heart-to-heart with the zealous Foot Recruit to trying to prove his worth to the Foot Lieutenant. But will all his hard work be worth it in the end?

The boys get introduced to society in the worst way possible. They can treat a broken bone, some bruises, maybe a couple gashes. But there are definitely not enough resources in the sewers when Leo seizes.

Leo would appreciate it if his brothers informed him when they managed to anger entire towns.
When a run in with Donnie’s growing list of enemies from witch town leaves him and Leo to deal with a nasty spell, the after effects have Leo reeling. He’s determined to play things cool and brush it off, despite his brothers’ growing suspicions at his changing behavior. He’s the leader, after all, he should be able to handle it!

Amidst these shifting power dynamics, a family separated for years is brought together. Can they come together, or will this only drive them further apart?

When Leo imagined himself getting captured by some kind of shady, quasi-governmental agency intent on imprisoning mutants, it was never anything like this.
When he let his mind go there, he always pictured that he would be strapped to a table. Maybe muzzled. That scientists would stand over him, scalpels and drills in hand, and start to take him apart. That they'd examine him piece by piece, and wouldn't give him any anesthesia while they did it.
But there is no table, no muzzle, no restraints at all. He's just in a room.
