Summary
The apartment wasn’t large by any means, but it had everything he needed. Jin’s eyes lingered upon a closed door as he walked by it. There were bullet hole stickers plastered all over it and a Keep Out sign in the middle. Crooked, as usual. He rolled his eyes and continued on his way.
His roommate was, well… ridiculous. That was putting it nicely. He knew the guy wouldn’t be up for another few hours. Even then it was likely he’d be late for his first class. Some people just weren’t built for 8am lectures. Jin didn’t particularly love them either, but he did like how much of the day he had left for himself because he’d scheduled early classes this semester. Even if said time was spent studying more often than not. Oh well.
He stepped into the kitchen and grabbed himself a bottle of water from the fridge along with the lunch he’d prepared last night. He looked at the other lunch there. Messy and somehow crooked, it was seemingly wrapped by a toddler who was in a hurry to move on. Really, his roommate was all kinds of hopeless.

Summary
Jin turned to leave the room. His wrist was caught once again. When he turned around to look at his boyfriend curiously, Jin was kissed. This one was much more pleasant than the last. Minty fresh and passionate, he instinctively leaned into it.
Even though they’d been dating for what felt like forever now, kissing Shiki still made his head spin a little. The guy was all fire and it was like he was attempting to burn him from the inside out with those flames. Intense didn’t begin to cover it. The pain in the ass was a drug he just couldn’t quit. Jin was hopelessly addicted.
The two of them parted and Shiki smiled in that adorable way of his that made his face scrunch. Jin’s heart skipped a beat. He had no right to be so stinking cute when he was also the most irritating person on the planet. Jin wanted to kiss him again. Unfortunately, his annoying boyfriend moved before he could lean back in.
“Oh, yeah! Before I forget!” Shiki put both hands on either side of Jin’s face and squished. He continued to smile like an idiot as he chirped, “Happy Birthday, dude!”
