“Do you want to grab coffee?” MJ finally asked, and Peter swore his heart stopped. He dug his nails into his palm to make sure he wasn’t dreaming. Nope, definitely not. “I understand if you have lectures to attend. But I would love to poke someone’s brain in biochemical engineering. I’m actually considering double majoring, but I don’t know what I could really do with that degree.”
“Really? I mean of course you could double major! I’m sure you’re smart, and I would love to talk about biochemical engineering!” Peter wasn’t sure if he was coming off weird, but for the first time since the world forgot he existed, he felt like he was exactly where he wanted to be.
MJ paused as she began to make her way out, and she turned back to Peter with a frown. “Do I know you from somewhere? I feel like I know you.”
He swallowed down the lump in his throat as he shook his head. “Must have one of those faces.”

Blue fluorescent lights shone down on Enid, highlighting her every movement and each subtle breath, as she awaited the music.
Slowly, the orchestral chorus grew louder, the beat quickened, and she matched it with perfect rhythm.
All eyes were on her. But she only danced with one person in mind. Whilst the thrill of performance gave her a rush, Wednesday's gaze enthralled her, pushed her harder. Even amidst one of their petty fights, she knew she could rely on her roommate. Enid knew, despite her strongest protests, that Wednesday cared.
