It felt like someone turned on all the lights in his brain at once as panic crackled down his spine. He scrambled back from the door as it finished unlocking and swung open with a rush of cool February air. He had about a three second head start on whoever had just picked his lock at five in the morning and he seized it, bolting for his bedroom. River heard boots pounding over his threshold. He didn’t hesitate, didn’t look back, barely managed to slam the bedroom door behind him and brace himself against it before a body slammed against the other side of it. The cheap door flexed horribly behind him. It wouldn’t hold for long.
Or: when River is abducted before his first day back at Slough House after an op, the slow horses race against the clock (and The Park) to bring him home before something happens that can't be undone.

Summary
Robby has just tipped the coffee grounds into the filter when he hears Jack calling to him from their bedroom, his voice pitched oddly.
“Robby… Mike?”
Concerned, Robby moves quickly on his bare feet across the floor back to their shared room. He finds Jack halfway off the bed, holding onto the duvet for dear life and his face a sickly shade of grey. His one good leg buckles traitorously.
“I’m not… feeling so good.”

Jack isn't feeling quite like himself and Robby comes to his rescue.

Okay I just want to write a scene where Grace watches the pain that Rocky goes through when Rocky rescues him. I don't know if it aligns with the timeline or anything but who needs a timeline.
