She would get to see her beloved cousins, bring a little bit of goth flavor to a boring town, and reunite with her childhood best friend. There were only a few small problems with that...
Steve Harrington, to Wren's utter chagrin, had become a major douchebag. And he'd started courting her straightlaced cousin Nancy. And the only people excited to see her return were her kid cousin Mike and his kid friends - and that was just because she'd let them play Dungeons and Dragons while she babysat them. The people she used to call friends now called her "Creepy Crawley." The family she used to hold dear now held her at arm's length. And the one person who would've helped her through it all just four years prior now wouldn't be caught dead in her vicinity, if he could help it.
Wren's only comforts anymore could be found in her three favorite things: her art, her D&D games, and her new friend Eddie Munson. But when one of Mike's friends goes missing, Wren has no idea her entire life is about to change.
