Summary
Death itself is never painful. What truly hurts is the process. I died many times. Some deaths slower and or more painful than others. But it all had the same outcome. I would wake up a few seconds or minutes later depending on the kind of death.
When your weird, new, cult father sees that as some kind of heavenly sign (it could be who am I to assume at this point...) that he is in the right... Well you end up in this situation.
