Summary
When Vox makes his Deal with Alastor, he doesn't stop to negotiate the terms, doesn't draw up a physical contract that clearly outlines the terms of the agreement. No, he just seizes the hand that's offered before Alastor can pull it back.
He may come to regret that.

Summary
The proposal is simple: care for the ailing younger son hidden away in the Dawn Winery until the end of the social season. But for the physician Albedo, whose passion is prolonging life, tending to an undead is the most illogical application of his skills. If he can simply assist sir Kaeya in recovering enough to attend one or two balls — and perhaps seek out a wife for himself — he’ll be one step closer to settling into the complex hierarchy of Mond nobility and nouveau riche.
Too bad it’s also courting season for a far more ancient population of Teyvat — and understanding their etiquette is a matter of life and death.

“Honestly, Aizawa, just do it. I’ll give you five hundred dollars in cash afterwards. You don’t even have to kiss me, but you do need to shave.”
“Well…”
“And like I said, I want you to meet someone. He’s going to be working the floor, and if you do a good job as my undercover bodyguard, he may want to hire you.”
“And are you going to tell me who this mystery man is?”
“I could, but where’s the fun in that?” She smirks as she says it, sipping her fancy cocktail. Aizawa just has water. Who orders alcohol at 1 in the afternoon? Aizawa refrains from mentioning it- she’s the one paying for all this.

He reached under his pillow on reflex, and there was something there, something hard and rectangular and Five couldn’t help but pull it out.
It was a package, encased in brown paper, a small tag attached to the side. Five thumbed it over, ignoring Luther’s inquiries about what it said.
To Mr. Five Hargreeves, watch these if you want to survive the apocalypse.
“What the hell?”
