Summary
"Mr. Buckley? We need you to pick up Theo. There's been an... incident."
Twenty minutes later, Buck was in the principal's office, staring at a child holding crutches, another man who looked seconds from losing it, and his own son, who was beaming like he'd just won a medal.
"He hit someone," Ms. Smith said. "With a broom."
"A broom," Buck repeated.
"The broom," she corrected.
Theo puffed up.
"They were being mean to Chris. So I got the broom and-"
"You used a broom," Buck said slowly.
"It worked."
The man across the room coughed. It sounded suspiciously like a laugh.
Chris spoke up, voice small:
"He was really b-brave."
"Thank you! I was!"

Summary
Eddie wanted to disagree on reflex. He wanted to argue about how he wasn’t the one who was kidnapped and tortured by a divorced serial killer couple and was so affected by the experience had to hide behind the chemical haze of opioids. He wanted to argue that he wasn’t the one who almost died from infection after having broken ribs, open wounds, and no medical care. He wanted to argue but then he thought about how he panicked he felt waking up without Buck next to him, how angry he was thinking that someone had hurt or killed him in a hate crime, and the few dark moments after finding the truck that ran them off the road where he was certain he would be bringing a body back to Los Angeles and not his best friend.
He ended up saying nothing, because Buck was right. This was going to be hard on both of them.or, New Mexico vs Bonnie Sheets. A speculation on what a trial episode could look like for Season 10.

Summary
If people were to just observe the father-son duo for longer than five minutes, there would be absolutely no way they couldn’t see it, too.
For Tommy however, every little new thing about Evan and Theo he learns, every look, every gesture, every little huff breathed out into the air and more, he eagerly collects, keeping each and every one of them close to his heart.
— — — —
Or, 5 times Tommy realized just how similar Theo and Buck are in their appearance, manner, everything, and the 1 time Buck realized that Tommy and Theo share some similarities as well.

“Parrotfish have teeth in their throats,” Buck said.
Christopher looked at him. “Why do you know that?”
Buck looked back. “Why don’t you?”
“They make sand,” Buck told Theo.
“The fish make sand?” Theo asked.
“They eat little pieces of coral and then the parts they don’t use come back out as sand.”
There was a pause.
Theo’s nose wrinkled.
“Out their butt?”
Buck glanced at Eddie.
Eddie folded his arms. “You started this.”
“Basically,” Buck admitted.
Theo stared down through the glass at the parrotfish.
“Poop beach.”
Christopher chuckled.
