Set after the season 5 Epilogue!!
“Friends? No thanks,”
A heavy pause sat between the two boys,
“Best friends.”
The memory stuck in Mike’s mind, echoing in his ears despite the time that has passed; almost as if it were taunting him, punishing him. A quiet, melancholic laugh escaped out of Mike’s mouth. He should be out celebrating, one of his books had finally been published out of state, yet all he could think about was the boy he missed.
The boy who got away.
The boy who he would never forget.
Will.
Oh... Will...Or, Mike never got over Will, no matter how hard he tried. Will, however had a new life. So after his mom and him have a meaningful conversation, he does the reasonable thing and flies to New York to see Will.
