Summary
Gaz stands where Price left him, a few steps back from the glass, his injured shoulder throbbing dully in its sling, his pulse still skidding just beneath his skin like it hasn’t realized yet that the fight is over. He feels wrong in his own body—hollowed out, scraped raw—like something vital has been scooped clean out of his chest and the space hasn’t decided what to fill itself with yet. He’s seen men die. He’s seen bodies break, blood pooling bright in the dirt and the sand, he’s watched life flicker out in places far uglier than this. He’s carried the weight of it, learned how to compartmentalize, how to lock things away so he can keep moving. But that was enforced distance. That was work.
This is his best mate.
This is Soap.
-or- When Soap is badly injured and Price's walls come down, Gaz is there to pick up the pieces.

Summary
Kyle Garrick has always known exactly who he is. He’s never experienced a crisis of identity, never second-guessed his own instincts. An elite operator, the best of the best, hand selected by Captain Johnathan Price himself as one of the original members of Task Force 141. Easygoing and emotionally intelligent, he bonded quickly with the newest member, Sergeant John MacTavish, like they were long lost brothers, and Riley…well, he’s about as close to him as the Lieutenant will allow. None of them have ever questioned his competency, his loyalty, his friendship, or his proclivities—Kyle Garrick has never questioned what he was or who he was attracted to, and frankly, he never would.
So he really did not expect his second gay awakening to hit eighty stories up while taking heavy fire.
-or-Gaz realizes, much to his dismay, that he's attracted to his CO

Summary
Johnny dusts his hands off against his jeans and steps back from the tree. “Kyle?”
“Mm?” Gaz is trying to hook a huge ceramic snowflake onto a branch that absolutely will not hold it.
“I’ll be right back, yeah?”
Gaz glances over, eyes flicking to Johnny’s expression. Something in them softens. “Need a minute?”
“Aye. There’s something I need tae do.”
“All right. But hurry back. We’ve still got to convince Price to wear his jumper and I’m gonna need backup. And a distraction while I decorate his office.”
Johnny snorts under his breath and heads for the door. His heart is beating a mile a minute, and he feels like there’s lightning in his veins, fizzy and effervescent with nervous energy. But he knows one thing for certain as he steps into the hallway—he can’t let Simon spend Christmas Eve thinking he’s lost him.
Not when the truth is that Johnny has never needed him more than he does right now.
-or-It's Christmas Eve, and Simon and Johnny finally TALK.

“Hey, Johnny…”
There’s a fifteen second pause, followed by a heavy sigh.
“It’s um…it’s Simon. You probably already figured that out. We had a fight today and you asked me for space so I’m…I’m recording this because I don’t know what else to do. I don’t know how to fix this. I don’t know what I’m doing, I just—"
Simon’s voice breaks.
“I’m sorry I hurt you.:

Summary
A shout echoes from somewhere behind him. Boots pounding. Snarling.
Gaz curses sharply. “Shit—Soap, right side! Hold on!”
Soap looks up.
Dark shapes explode out from behind a stack of shipping pallets. Massive, fast and low, fur and teeth and momentum.
Dogs. Big dogs.
Two of them.
And something inside Johnny MacTavish just…locks up.
-or- Soap has a fear of dogs and gets triggered in the middle of an op.

Summary
A loosely connected series of GhostSoap fics based on my own headcannons, through the course of their relationship. They won't necessarily be posted in order, but they will be ordered chronologically as they are posted. Based on prompts for whumptober, angstober, and flufftober, there will be a lot of whump, hurt/comfort, and some spice later on. Heed the tags!

They were only supposed to be hooking up. That’s what it was supposed to be. They were never supposed to become anything real.
Falling in love with Shane Hollander had never been part of the plan.
So he ends it.
Months later, during a heated game, one explosive check from Ilya sends Shane crashing to the ice and fighting for his life. As Shane lies on the edge of survival, Ilya is swallowed by guilt, terror, and the crushing realization that he walked away from the one person he can’t imagine losing, and that he might be too late to make it right.

Summary
“Stay with us, sir!” MacTavish pleaded, already too late. Price’s eyes rolled back, his hands slipping away along with his consciousness, his helmet thumping against the concrete.
“6-2 to Watcher. We need medevac now!” As Gaz shouted into the radio for help, they all descended on Price in a mad scramble to prevent him from rolling off the edge of the roof. “We need medevac now!” he repeated, hearing their exfil bird on approach.
“How many and what type, 6-2?” Kate asked.
“One urgent.” He had to raise his voice. “It’s Six.”
They call for a medevac, but when Price wakes up, he isn’t on it. So why not? A story bridging the two post-Reactor cutscenes, as told by Gaz.
