"He saw the corners of Ilya's lips curve up ever so slightly in that infuriating, tiny hint of a smile. “Goodbye, Shane Hollander.”

Shane could only ogle as Ilya walked away. Fuck. His ass was fat. This was so bad.

Shane Hollander, star athlete, D1 hockey team captain, campus heartthrob, was being completely undone by a brooding Slavic art major that he would probably crawl on his fucking knees and bark for."

    --

Shane is ready for another boring semester where he has to pretend like he cares about anything other than hockey. Until he sits down next to a mysterious Russian art student who also happens to be the hottest guy Shane has ever seen.

“Hello,” Ilya repeats, still kind of stuck on those freckles.

    “Hi?” the man says.

    “Hi,” Ilya says—again.

Oh god, he's said hello three times now. He should literally say anything else. His name, probably. His phone number, preferably.

“Hi,” Ilya says again, because he can’t help it. “I am—”

“Are you Nick?” the man asks, and it comes out as a breathless sound.

OR: Shane gets stood up on a blind date, and Ilya comes to the rescue, and proceeds to make a series of questionable decisions.

WHAT THE FUCK?? This is the best HR fanfic ever😭 This fic beats me up with the amount of feels it is throwing at me. I teared up a lot reading this. I love protective Shane so much and the yearninggg😫 I can't even lust/goon over the sex scenes with the amount of feelings it kept giving me🥀 10000000/10 would reread multiple times over and over, I highly recommend everyone to read this!!
