When you start hearing voices there are normally one or two options. Either you have a really strange quirk, or your mind could be suffering from a chemical imbalance. What happens when the voice tells you that its neither of those options and instead tells you that its a dead guy from the time before quirks?
This exact dilemma is what befell Izuku Midoriya one day, born quirkless in a society where your quirk is one of the most important ways that someone's value is measured, when he heard The Voice he thought his quirk had finally come in. That all his prayers had been answered. Not Exactly! Instead the Voice told him to seek help and stop lying to his mother. Izuku met a girl by a lake one day, well it was a river to be exact. She didn't look down on him for not having a quirk instead she told him he could be a hero. Whenever he was down, or lost he would think of her. He always dreamed of seeing her again, to his surprise there she was in the heroic course at U.A. Will she remember him?
Tsu met a boy by the river one day, the way he looked at her made her realize she could be a hero. She could never forget the boy by the river he was always there in the back of her mind. She wondered if she would ever see him again.
Neither were prepared for what it would mean to see each other again and the impact that it would have on their lives.
