Castiel feels as though his life has lost its purpose, or maybe it never had one. Whatever the case, he doesn’t see the benefit of carrying on. His family members are all estranged, himself being disowned and having nothing to show for his entire high school career, now a clerk at the Gas N Sip. He knows just what to do, and where to do it, but a very nosey, and very pretty man on the bridge that night might just ruin it all, and maybe, give Castiel a new purpose.

Summary
Castiel is heading home from his shop after a bad day, and to top it all off, it's raining. He's hungry and tired, and doesn't notice the dog that races out in front of him until it's too late. Castiel trips and falls to the ground, getting up just as the dog gets hit by a car. When checking on the dog, Castiel realizes, this isn't a dog; it's a familiar.
