If there was one thing most people could agree on, it's that CEOs were evil. And CEO's of major corporations? They're the closest thing the world's ever going to get to absolute evil. Even the most humane of them have a list of deceased in their names that exceed most war memorials, and the most depraved of them lost track after they entered the tens of millions. If there's one thing you can rely on a corporation head to be, it's cunning, ruthless, and depraved beyond belief.
Ichiban Kasuga was (reportedly) none of these things. Ichiban Kasuga, from what the few people that have been able to prove their interactions with him have to say, have all claimed that he's a mildly dimwitted man prone to acts of obscene charity, that is always willing to drop whatever he's doing to help a complete stranger out.
Not even the most gullible person on the planet would believe such an obvious fantasy.

She didn’t remember hitting her head on the back of the locker when one of her tormentors shoved her in, passing out. She didn’t remember the jeers and taunts from the other students, glad it wasn’t them being shoved in a locker filled with rotting tampons and human waste. She didn’t remember being left in a biohazard overnight. Nor did she remember slowly losing feeling in her extremities in the cold, unheated school building.
She certainly did not remember a pair of otherworldly beings dropping shards of themselves. Nor remember a shard falling at her.

He shifts his cargo carefully, adjusting his hold on the boy so that his head is supported and his face is shielded from the snowfall against the thick, deep green fur that covers Izuku’s body.
“Just hold on,” Izuku says as he turns into the snowfall to begin the long trek back home. “I’ll keep you safe, I promise.”
And maybe, just maybe, if Izuku does a good enough job this one will stay long enough to realize that just because Izuku looks like a beast now, he’s still human in all of the ways that matter.
