Summary
It was difficult after the revolution, Connor was still discovering who he was. He especially struggles after figuring out he was Aroace, not delighted he was even more different then he already was. Markus finds out (through his cables) and tries helps Connor. Eventually, Connor finds solace and happiness, proud of who he is.
I know the summary sucks but the fic is decent enough (I think?)

Summary
“What…” Bruce shakes his head slightly, grunting at the effort it probably took him to make such a simple movement. Jason knows that under that cowl his eyes are flitting about wildly, doing his best to take in every detail and analyse all the information available to him, which can’t be much given the position his head is in: laid against Jason’s chest, tilted up so that their eyes meet, and unable to move very far.
“Jason?” His voice sounds rough, thick with blood and scratchy like he’s recently been strangled (and maybe he has, Jason doesn’t keep tabs on him, so who knows).
“Yeah, old man,” Jason replies, trying to keep his voice steady and not give away the pure panic that’s currently rushing through his veins, “It’s me, try not to be too disappointed."
Or: Jason and Bruce get trapped under an exploded warehouse, and there is no such thing as a happy ending
