“I’m being delusional? That woman would eat you alive,” Trinity rolled her eyes.
Frank scoffed, “And you’d be any better off?”
“Duh,” Trinity said with a shrug. “Which is why she’s flirting with me, and not you.”
The thing is, maybe the whole flirting with Yolanda thing had started because she was fucking with Frank, but now as Trinity found herself settling into the conversation, she could admit how much she actually liked Yolanda.
She was funny, in a sharp way that complemented Trinity’s own sense of humor, and smart enough to keep Trinity on her toes. And of course, she was also attractive enough that Trinity always felt a little bit tongue-tied around her. But Frank didn’t need to know that.
Grad school rivals Trinity and Frank try to figure out which one of them a patron at work is flirting with.
