Summary
“I—I’m a God!” Jester whined, as if her saying it would deny the reality in front of her, deny Jack pounding her onto the table like she was a toy, deny the splinters that she was no doubt getting on her exposed skin, deny the fact that, at least for the moment, at his mercy.
“If you’re a god, then I’m gonna fucking desecrate you, defile you,” something shifted in her at his words, her dark-rimmed eyes teary, and when he brought his hands down on her—from her wrists to her neck, she struggled comparatively little, as if she had forgotten how to use her powers, and had to fight back only with her body, scratching the wrists that were pinning her neck to the table—there was slack to them, when Jack impaled her again, he squeezed his hands around her throat then, and something akin to a gasp was strangled out of her.
…
If Jester was god, and If Jack was Judas, he wouldn’t have her killed, even if it was for thirty silver coins, he would keep her all to himself, keep her forever on his cock, she was so much better like that, instead of a stupid god.
(Won’t make sense unless you’re caught up with Duffy’s Digital Circus: My Doll House).

Summary
Throughout her journey, Jay knew that Chip was something different, notable, and yet for a while, his strangeness became ordinary, almost part of the background, but for some reason, something changed, and now Jay couldn't help but notice things about her Co-Captain, things about him that she felt like taking notes on— which was particularly concerning, since she didn't even take any notes for her inventions,
And the more she stays around him, the more strange things she hears about him, things that solidified that wondrous and terrifying feeling in her chest, one that she had no idea when had developed, but had developed nonetheless, and one that she has to deal with, whatever comes her way, she'll just have to roll with it!
Or. 5 Times Jay learned something about Chip and 1 time Chip learned something about Jay.

Summary
"..."
Jay nuzzles again into the collar of his coat, this time far more tired and far more genuine— there she stays for a long while, and he swears to the One True God that he hears her let out the smallest little chirp.
“Hm,” Chip guesses that he did in fact get what he wanted when he thought of serenading wandering birds, just not in the way he expected, no guitar though, and the bird could probably fold him like an omelet— though having said that, he isn’t in any hurry to scramble like an egg.
“What?” she turns at him again, annoyed and disgruntled at being torn from sleep again from his mumbles probably— and peering at him through one heavily lidded eye, her wings twitch lazily where they were lain flush against his sides, something he takes notice of.
He grins, more real and more carefree than he has in a long while, “Bird brain.”
Or, Chip (& Co.) exits the Black Sea with Jay, for reasons that Chip himself isn’t entirely happy with— and his anxious pacing across deck, wakes someone from within the hull.
—And well, if Chip gets forced to sleep and cuddled to oblivion by a bird, then he guesses he just has to roll with it.

Summary
A short time has passed since the Author has finished his Solstice update, and the Player is living the life they have dreamed of, inside Niko's world, with their old friends at their side and a chance past their Oneshot at life, their life looks to be on the up and up.
And yet the Player can't help but feel like there is something wrong with their new life, the persistent nagging and guilt for all their perceived wrongs-- illusionary or not-- in their mind chewing them up and spitting them up, they need a release-- something to take the edge off (besides a stiff drink of course), and what better one, then their old hobby from their old world? Stargazing.
More specifically, Astronomy.

Summary
Momo Ayase never met a boy she could call Okarun the day she was dumped by her first boyfriend. She didn't attend college after graduation, either. Ten hard years later, she decides to give it a try and enrolls in a university. In a course she only takes because it sounded easy and fulfills a requirement, she encounters Professor Ken Takakura, PhD. From then, fate takes the wheel.
This is a story about pain and sorrow, about failure and regret, about intimacy and sex, about life and trauma and the desperate, futile struggle against the iron grip of fate. But most of all, it is a story about love. Pure, passionate love.
IMPORTANT UPDATE
Catching Up is becoming an independent novel.

Bookmarker's Notes
For being a surface-level degen fic, the writing is masterful in its hilarity, favorite part was Ken's dialogue, which was always really insightful, it fits his character majorly, and he speaks like he loves his subject, even in a medium of script, his tone of voice and obsession with his interests are clear.
Peak.

Summary
Tommy was handed a small flyer in printed in black and white, with the words “POETRY NIGHT - OPEN MIC” splayed across the front in bubbled font. He fumbled with his binder as he took it, eyes wide as he said, “are you sure? I mean, I love poetry and all, but I don’t think-I’m not sure—what if I can’t write poetry?”
Mr. Sam’s dark eyes softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Everyone has to start somewhere; every poet, from me to Rudy Francisco, started off without knowing a clue about what we were doing. Tommy, it’s not about if you can or cannot write poetry, it’s about if you want to.”

Summary
As a very exasperated ex-musician-turned-starving-artist, you often faced difficulties trying to make ends meet. Fleeing the monotonous drone of the suburbs into a quaint, idyllic little town nestled deep in the countryside, one thing leads to another before snowballing into something else entirely, and you soon fall seamlessly into the role as caretaker of your neighbor’s child, Niko.
Happiness comes in small packages, you learn with time, as Niko and their sunny radiance just may have been the inspiration you needed to not only mend your artistic slump, but fill your life with that much-needed bliss.
