Summary
Tim is being held captive by dark alternates of the bats. They're determined to break him and mold him into the perfect docile son and brother, even if psychological torture is what takes. Tim is theirs, and they're not giving him back.
Meanwhile, Bruce won't accept that Tim is dead. There was no body, no proof other than a singed cape, and Bruce has evidence of strange atmospheric occurrences on the night of Tim's "death." Tim is alive, and Bruce will stop at nothing to get his son back— even if he has to rip a hole in space-time itself to do it.

Summary
