Summary
After the encounter with Travis Phelps in the bathroom and reading a note he found on the floor, Sal Fisher becomes oddly concerned with his former bully. The note on the ground tugged on his heartstrings and after making the offer to be a friend to Travis, he decides to keep it. He knows very little about this other boy, but he can make some inferences from the note he found. However, he couldn't ever have imagined what it actually is like for him. As Sal and Travis become closer, their relationship is challenged by the stakes of Kenneth Phelps, the closest thing to a monster that anyone has encountered.

A term used to describe an activity or a channel that one uses to express, release, and focus their ideas, emotions, and imagination.Sal Fisher uses music as his way of expressing the emotions he has within him. Work already stresses him enough as it is, with it only being part-time now. Now, starting college, he has to pour more hours of his life into something he's not passionate about. Music is the one hobby he has left around here now, since he and his friends haven't been able to find any ghosts lately with the super gear boy. He wishes things could become simpler again, seeking out the dead with people he trusts, not having to worry about his future, but with the arrival of a certain boy he used to know, maybe things could become simpler again.
