Summary
The blood on my hands was warm, sticky—too familiar. But I didn’t flinch. Not when his eyes were on me. Heterochromatic, piercing, taking me apart piece by piece, reading every twitch of my fingers, every shallow breath.
Ari tilted his head, stepping closer. His presence was a weight—heavy, unavoidable. “Bailey’s shaking,” he murmured, voice gentle, almost fond. His hand ghosted over mine, smearing red against my skin like an artist blending paint. “It feels strange at first. But Bailey will understand. Bailey will see what I see.”
My stomach twisted. The body at my feet should’ve made me sick. Should’ve. But all I could feel was the warmth of Ari’s touch.
“I don’t know if I can keep doing this,” I whispered.
Ari smiled—soft, reassuring. Loving. “But Bailey will.”
His fingers curled around mine, firm, steadying. Holding me in place.
“Bailey’s strong. Stronger than he thinks. I knew it the first time I saw him.” His voice dipped, soft and syrupy, spilling into my ear. “I’ll never let Bailey go.”
A pause. A promise.
His lips barely brushed my temple, warm, suffocating. "And someday, Bailey will thank me for it.”
And the worst part was—
I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t.

Summary

Only, things are severely interrupted when her best welder goes into an extremely sudden and unexpected heat. Now, the expedition is on pause while she and her crew desperately try to figure out a way to stop Jack from maiming himself or someone else.
Too bad no one told the prison that, and a shuttle arrives with a convict who was supposed to be sent into the ocean.

Summary
Rin is sent back in time by Mephisto to prevent the world from falling into chaos and being destroyed. He’s sent back a little farther than he intended, but Rin’s always been good at snap decisions. Besides, this just means he’ll have more time to prepare for what’s coming. He’s just sad that he can’t take Yukio or his friends with him, but he’ll do anything to make sure they survive this time around.

“Iruma,” Kalego said firmly as he grabbed the boy’s wrist to stop him from running any further, “I need you to answer me truthfully. You’re not in any trouble, so take a deep breath,” His voice was uncharacteristically gentle as he slowly guided Iruma back to the couch. Once Iruma was sat, Kalego crouched down and gently held his hands, “Iruma,” He said quietly, “Who grounded you?”
The teenager blinked in surprise at Kalego’s words. Grounded? He looked around at all the other teachers, expecting them all to be staring at him like he was a buffet waiting to be eaten. Instead, they all stared back at him with pity and horror written all over his face. He slowly turned his attention back to Kalego, who was patiently waiting for an answer.
“Excuse me,” Iruma whispered, his heart still hammering in his chest, “W-what…What is grounding?” He asked.

What if Iruma is removed from Sullivan's custody and put in the care of his grumpy homeroom teacher and the teacher who supposedly experiments on students? How will Iruma continue to hide the fact that he's human while also making his teachers understand he wasn't tortured?

Suzuki Iruma has never said 'no.' Not once. He was possibly the biggest pushover in the world. From shady proposals to outright illegal deals he'd yet to find anything he would decline. No matter how badly he wanted to. It's pathetic, really. Even he knows that. So when his parents– so kind, so polite– asked him if he could please finish a summoning circle for them, he walked into their basement without hesitation.
One glance at the word ‘demon’ and Iruma wishes he was illiterate.
