Kali ini ia menjalani hari-hari datar dengan menyelidiki sebuah Rumah mewah yang sudah tidak berpenghuni diduga milik seorang investor kaya raya yang dibunuh karena saingan politik 5 tahun lalu. Kepala Kepolisian berharap dapat menemukan beberapa berkas atau hal yang ditinggalkannya di dalam Mansion itu untuk investigasi lebih lanjut ke kasus-kasus lain.

Luka hides his small smile behind the rim of his cup. He takes the lid off and looks down into his tea, staring at its reflection. He thinks about the unfinished score on his desk, about how the bow clattered against the table, and how the heavy silence in the estate just sits there, listening. He thinks about how he’d rather be in this stupid car, with Ivan’s dumb stories and lukewarm tea, than surrounded by everything that’s supposed to mean something.
See you tomorrow, Ivan had said. Luka wonders how many more tomorrows he will allow himself.
