Summary
Rebuilding one's old planet from the ground up and not repeating its past mistakes is extremely difficult, a fact Bumblebee is becoming well aware of. However, after a distress signal is picked up from an old Cybertronian prison ship Bumblebee must juggle investigating on Earth and his new duties. He also may or may not accidentally end up forming another unconventional family unit but that's besides the point.
This is a fancy way of saying this is a RiD:2015 rewrite cause that show actually shot me in the chest and then lobotomized me, but I loved the concept!

hellooooo!!! i want to practice my writing skills more (and indulge in my transformers hyperfixation badly) so feel free to comment any ideas about writing. Summary
The instinctive swing of Optimus' axe stopped just before it made contact with the Decepticon emblem branded on his false-hood. It was an action that sharply reminded Bumblebee of his place.
His vents stuttered and Prime panted heavily, optics disbelieving as they dragged up to his facial sculpt.
His axe does not lower, not even when a flood of recognition clouds the glass of his optics.
Or; to consider yourself amongst the ranks of the Decepticons, you learn one thing and one thing only—your safety is conditionally tied to how useful you are. To stay functioning, it's in your best interest to learn that and learn it quick.
Bumblebee's never wished so hard before that he had anything other than speed going for him.

Dark tan hands peel off the helmet. Beneath it is an impossible face; one he remembers had clasped his hands ten months ago. Zuko's breath sucks in, fast and dry, feeling like a bucket of ice has been dumped on him
"Yeah," Sokka huffs, a soft smile curling his lips. "You're okay now. It's just me."

Where Zuko is banished without Iroh or the task of searching for the Avatar, gets a bounty on his head, and has to be saved from Boiling Rock Prison by an annoying Southern Water Tribe warrior that makes him feel really weird.

An AU where the four nations speak different languages:
The plan had been simple...
Step 1. Break the Avatar out of the Pohuai Stronghold.
Step 2. Drag the Avatar back to his ship.
Step 3. Sail home.
Step 4. Present the Avatar to his father and have his honor restored.Nowhere in the plan had Zuko accounted for becoming injured and the Avatar dragging him back to their camp. It certainly hadn't accounted for them taking him prisoner. Nor had it accounted for the added complication of Avatar's companions not having the decency to learn the Common Dialect. Only the Avatar understands him and communication in the group is a tangled mess.
Because when you don't speak the same language, how can you find a Common Ground?

“No way!” The tiny yellow bot gasped, all traces of fear completely erased from his field and faceplate. “You’re Optimus Prime? Like the leader of the Autobots?”
Optimus could not help the tiny laugh he let free. “Indeed, young one, the very same. In fact, this happens to be the second floor of my biggest ship.”
The yellow bot practically vibrated with excitement. “That's so cool!”
Something bitter twisted through Ratchet’s plating, watching the sparkling interact with his mate, seeing his tiny optics light up and his field glow with awe. Oh, how desperately he wished he'd stepped forward, spoken first, been faster, known better. Ratchet's systems boiled with misplaced irritation at the thought. Hadn't it always been him?

A long time ago Bumblebee got kidnapped by Shockwave and was forced to play at a sickening father-son dynamic he never bought into. But, hey! That was a long time ago! The war is basically over now, and Bumblebee is a respected hero who leads his own team of Polity Advocates. Things are going fine for him, perfect, even!
Until a new Decepticon defects to the Autobots. A Decepticon that no one’s ever seen before, who bears an eerie resemblance to Bumblebee himself.
Evil shockdad inspired fic where Shockwave decides to make a sparkling to replace Bumblebee and the results are uhhhh mixed. Basically: evil shockdad with a focus on sibling/pseudo-siblings dynamics and the weird kind of bonding that can result from being abused by the same person.

Starscream had lost a lot before the war. Sunbeam. His sparkling. Starscream had long since lost hope that his sparkling was alive. Sunbeam had died in the ruins of Vos, and Starscream would never see him.
B-127 had been born before the war. He did not have anything left to lose by the time war broke out. Raised underground in energon mines, B-127 had not even gotten to grow into his true colors. Optimus Prime has saved him from the mines; there was never a need to look back.

Summary
Instead of Starscream being the well-known and feared Second-In-Command of the Decepticons, he’s practically an urban legend among Autobots and Decepticons alike, only known through vague prisoner-of-war stories and scattered attributions of battle plans and weapon designs. Most mecha are of the opinion that this “Starscream” is a mere myth to make Megatron look more menacing, and others (notably the Autobot spec-ops) often make jokes about ‘Starscream the ghost’ whenever a particularly strange case pops up.
This changes when Jazz and his team uncover an abandoned Decepticon laboratory on Earth, only to find a dying seekerlet locked in its depths.
And thus, Starscream is no longer a myth.

Summary
Minibots have a... reputation. An incorrect one, but a reputation nonetheless that still seems to stick even to this day. Bumblebee is aware of this, has been since he was first forged. And as a Minibot, he has faced obstacles and jumped hurdles invisible to his teammates.
So when Bumblebee eradically leaps and twists and bounces, the team simply role their optics at the display.
Aka; 5 Times Bumblebee dealt with the harassment that comes with being a Minibot alone.
And 1 time he didn't have to.
