This is set after the events of the Casefiles Anime SEASON ONE, and not based on the events of the light novel. The light novels are too complicated! I have read them all now, I just don't want to factor them all in, or I might take elements of them for stuff. Also this fic updates yearly on Waver's birthday because I'm very busy with my other series! BUT FRET NOT THIS IS NOT ABANDONED AND NOT FORGOTTEN! Just updates glacially!

Summary
Six years after his abrupt disappearance, Hatake Kakashi finally returns to Konoha with two tweens and one more Uchiha than he left with.
Everyone is very confused.

OR: sometimes a family is a timetravelling turned missing-nin former ANBU captain orphan who lost all of his precious people, a severely autistic and emotionally incompetent genius also turned missing-nin also former ANBU captain with a dangerous brother complex, a supposed dead war criminal but also highkey prisoner of war with an homoerotic attachment to his rival/best friend, a precious lowkey emotionally neglected Uchiha with a Bigger brother complex but better emotional regulation, and their shared human sunshine best Boy Ever in the form of the Kyūbi Jinchūriki.

The Harunos are eager to meet their daughter’s new genin team. Sakura isn’t sure that’s a good idea. Kakashi scrambles to groom his feral-raccoon students into something that won’t send Sakura’s parents running for the hills. Naruto and Sasuke are trying…someone’s best, that’s for sure.
