Summary
“You prioritized your suffering over her life."
“Our suffering.” Hannibal corrected.
An animal pouncing on his prey. There was little resistance as Will took him down, landing them both on the floor with a grunt. Knees knocking on the side of his ribs, hands on his throat. The very throat he was wishing he could slash. Wishing he had slashed, back in Florence, back when all he had wanted with that knife was some non-lethal hurt to equal his own. Back when he had not thought the answer to his problems was to digest the man instead of pushing him away.

Summary
Will sits in the dark, two fingers of whiskey untouched on the tumbler and his revolver on the table. From this side of the kitchen he has a direct, unobstructed view of both windows and the door. The dogs are in the attic, with a heater, their bowls of water, and food.
He realizes his hands have been still the whole day for the first time in months.
And Will waits.

A sigh followed by a nod, well, at least he was finding some entertainment out of it. The man had a knack for time travel, not space travel. What had possessed him to put on the Star Trek reboot of all things?
Or: Will can't sleep but a few hours at a time and they end up watching Star Trek (2009)...

Summary
Tristan gave him the impression that he saw more than others, past and through flesh and steel and stone, either in it’s blur or intensity. What could he be discovering all the way down in him? He lowered back, a better angle for the pressure of those fingers that had trained beasts and played the most delicate-sounding of instruments. At that moment, he felt like both.

Summary
There stood the man, his man, his mirage, his muse. And not unlike Venus, he held his modesty firmly with a covering of fur.
Or: Hannibal, bored of his easy life in Baltimore, ends up settling in the western shore of Ireland. What the sea harbours around Roundstone might be the distraction he needed.

Summary
“Bones, what are you doing here so early–”
“I’m stuck in a time loop,” Bones says, cutting Jim off. He opens the cupboard near Jim’s table and makes a face at its lack of contents. “And before you ask, yes, you’ve been aware of this the past few loops. No, I haven’t figured out how to break it yet.” Bones pauses and opens another door in Jim’s cupboard and scowls. “What did you do with all your liquor?”
Jim blinks, his brain trying to process everything Bones just told him.
OR
Bones is stuck in a time loop. Jim isn't. He relearns this everyday.

Summary
When pressed, later, Leonard McCoy would say that he had never expected space to kill him in such a detached way. For years he had touted that space was disease and silence, emptiness and danger without any regard for life. He had been certain that he would be killed by some malevolent disease, perhaps murdered by an alien bent on violence or ill-guided due to a cultural misunderstanding. At worst, he had thought, there would be a fiery crash and he would be thrown into space, asphyxiating as his blood boiled within seconds.

Summary
It is of no matter to him though what he wants, it never has — Gawain is born to something greater than him and he shoulders it, shoulders it with a smile on his face, and pretends he cannot see the look of jealousy flit across his brothers’ faces, the calculating rapture that breaks and splinters Arthur’s, the way Guinevere bites her lip, the quiet way that Lancelot shakes off his gauntlets and dons colors that are not his own —
— Gawain can only stand there and bear it. He smiles, and it is like the sun.

Summary
“Bones?” He asks with the rise of an eyebrow and Jim laughs.
“Yeah, Bones.” Jim replies. His lips quirk into a half-smile but he keeps his eyes closed. “You needed a nickname.”
“You couldn’t have thought of a normal one?” Leonard grumbles as he sets to work on Jim’s hand.
“It suits you."
Or
Leonard falls apart and he runs to Starfleet. In three years, he learns how to pick himself back up.
