Summary
Kaylee “KJ” Johnson had just been handed the opportunity to do the funniest thing known to mankind.
She was eighteen years old, recently hired, and very much not supposed to be involved in Formula 1 discourse yet. And yet here she was, staring at her phone in the McLaren engineering office, oscillating between dumbfounded silence and uncontrollable giggling.
The announcement stared back at her.
"BWT Alpine F1 Team is pleased to announce Kaylee Johnson as Pierre Gasly’s Race Engineer for the 2025 season."

I asked a friend to give me 30 words and wrote shorts based on all of them! I am by no means a talented writer, and this is just to get me used to writing creatively again after writing academically.

Summary
“Y’know how it is,” he jerks his head to the side, and Oscar realises that he hasn’t looked him in the eyes once during this entire conversation. Avoiding. “Doesn’t exactly look good for me.”
“What doesn’t?” Oscar’s brows pull together, the back of his neck heating up. Swallowing, he goes to take a small step forward, to bridge the miles of distance between them, but he stops himself at the last second. Instead, runs his thumb nail over the pad of his pointer finger. Lets it carve into the pink skin.
Raising his hand, Lando flings it to the side, as if swatting away a particularly insistent fly.
“That you’re so, like. Beta.”

Summary
“People on the internet are saying we’re getting divorced,” Arvid whispered mournfully, rubbing his own cheek against Liam’s. “Do you really forgive me?”
“I’m sitting in your lap kissing you, bro... Just shut up,” Liam replied, exasperated.
