So the next natural step is for Yusuke to invite Jin to move in with him—into his small bachelor's apartment where the only fully stocked room is the kitchen.

Summary
The cuffs lay innocently across Yusuke’s palms, harmless enough. Experimentally, Jin unfurls one and secures it around his wrist. He’s not fond of the cuff, but it’s not that offensive. Certainly not a tool meant for true restraint.
But cuffs went against not only Jin’s nature, but his everything. He was a being of the open sky, a friend of the wind. He couldn’t be bound or contained, and in any other circumstance, he’d outright refuse to be.

More dangerous than any of the battles he’d faced as a Shinobi, even. He’d come out alive, sometimes with his life only hanging by a thread, but alive.
It was terrifying, too. He wasn’t allowed to want this… or rather, he hadn’t been allowed to want this. Not before. But now? Could he? Should he?
It wasn’t this, exactly—this heady insanity was nothing compared to the infinite agony of wanting nothing more than to be near; the terrible yearning to pledge himself to the one he'd loved for so long, to the one he'd secretly wished could love him in return.

Jin's caught off-guard when Yusuke suddenly kisses him during a visit to the island. Things heat up fast, and Jin's left to make a decision that terrifies him—let the night unfold and face the next day when it comes, or tell Yusuke the truth about his feelings. Either way, nothing between Jin and Yusuke would ever be the same.
