  1. Summary

I enjoyed writing 'Boys of Summer' so much that I decided that I wanted to revisit the world of baseball...as seen through the eyes of David Rose and Patrick Brewer, that is.

Baseball and SC have been two of my go-to happy places over this last very challenging 18 months, and so being able to bring these two things together is great fun for me...and I hope for you!

    Summary

The Sherwood, the motel that Johnny and Roland purchased, happens to be the same motel that David and Patrick used to "connect" before Patrick got his own place:

"Is it a little weird that - "
"It's a little weird that your dad bought our sex motel."

    This is what happened there.

    Summary

When Newt Scamander arrived in Toronto on a balmy August day in 1925, he was excited to begin the "Americas" leg of his research. He was curious as to why Dumbledore had been so insistent that he visit this particular city. He expected to discover something unusual - a magical beast perhaps, or another curiosity. He did *not* expect to lose his creatures in a strange city, or to find himself wanted by the Canadian Magical Parliament, or to be embroiled in a murder investigation with the Toronto Constabulary - Though as Detective Watts so helpfully pointed out: "I believe it was Alexander Pope who wrote: 'Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.'"

And though Newt felt many things during his Toronto adventure, he certainly was never disappointed.

    Summary

Alexis never saw herself as someone who would adopt a cat.

Working at the clinic should’ve been enough to steer her away from that forever — and she’s never liked animals, anyway.

But it’s just like… this cat, though.
