He was being hunted by something. He couldn’t tell who or what yet, but he knew that it was following him. Bright orange dots in the darkness outside his window. Quick shadows moving behind him. Piles of drool at the foot of his bed.
Whatever this was, had been watching for a while and decided this random Thursday evening was the time to strike.
If Robert was definitely not a human being hunting some loser, he would choose this night to strike, too.

Summary
“What, cat got your tongue?” The smirk in his voice was so obvious Robert didn’t need to look up to see it on his face. That was just his luck, he supposed. No peace, no quiet, only Flambae, who was shadowing him most of the night and almost burned him to death at one point.
“More like someone pissed in my drink” was Robert’s only answer. He really wasn’t in the mood, not right now, when he was still sore, to amuse the flaming hero. Whatever colorful story he was just saying probably wasn't worth listening to. If it were, he would listen from the beginning.
