It was love at first sight. For Toge, anyways. And at first, he was okay with waiting for Yuuta to realize his feelings slowly. Honestly, being thrust into the jujutsu world so abruptly, he probably didn't have a lot of time to focus on love, although Toge couldn't deny there was a small, burning pit in his stomach about it.
They were obviously soulmates, so Yuuta should have realized that the second they locked eyes, just like Toge did. Yet he didn't. But, despite that knowledge gnawing at the back of his mind every second of every day, Toge loved Yuuta. He loved him so, so much, that he'd forgive this. It was fine. Eventually, he'd realize.

"Yea, because you're in a bad mood. None of this would bother you otherwise." Another step, and when Toge mirrors a step back and hits the wall, he bares his teeth.
It's not fully intentional. His instincts are going haywire and he isn't even really sure why. The pressure from another alpha to fight, the way Yuuta's scent is seeping under his skin, the ache in his body from the upcoming rut making itself known. It's all too much.
With his back pressed against the wall, Yuuta taking another step forward is all it takes for Toge to lunge. The tackle is graceful. Everything Toge does is. A crouch, a sharp shoulder to the stomach, and they both fall back. Yuuta makes a startled noise that's interrupted by all the air leaving his lungs when they hit the ground.

Summary
Truth be told it's the most agonizing fifteen minutes of his life. The only thing running through his head is the possibility of Toge texting someone about his creepy, awkward lyft driver that won't stop staring at him and screaming like he saw a ghost when he simply tapped his shoulder.
As they arrive at the destination, Yuuta puts the car back in park and smiles into the rear view mirror. This time, the man's gaze meets his.
“Here you are,” Yuuta clears his throat when his voice cracks a bit, and he inwardly curses himself. Toge unbuckles his seatbelt and opens the door before turning to him. His hands start moving to sign, and Yuuta prays he can pick up enough of it.
Thanks for the ride. Sorry for scaring you. Yuuta is sure there's a smirk under that mask, but he can't see it. He wonders what his lips look like.

Summary
They hit the ground hard, a grunt escaping Choso’s chest as he stared up. Navy eyes bore down into him, deep, tired and amused. Choso wasn’t a proud man, he repeat to himself mentally even as his blood started to boil. He was the older brother of all of his siblings. He wasn’t weak. He worked hard to get to where he was, and sparring match or not, this sorcerer had bested him without an ounce of his cursed technique. It shouldn’t make him mad. It shouldn’t bother him. They’re on the same side. Yet…
Yuuta’s face leaned closer, eyes flicking to the mark on Choso’s face that was now starting to melt and leak as his emotions heightened. This time, Choso took advantage of the split second opening before the other man could speak, legs lifting to wrap around Yuuta and roll them. Another thud as they hit the ground, this time with Choso on top, and when a drop of blood dropped from Choso’s mark onto Yuuta’s face, Choso let go.
